Tune-ups keep your system working at max capacity so your system runs at its most efficient. This saves you money on energy costs. That $89 precision tune-up also saves you money from having a costly breakdown. When your cooling system is regularly checked, you catch malfunctioning parts before their failure can damage your entire system.

Tune-ups may seem like magic but they are actually more of a science. We’ve perfected our tune-up process to help us thoroughly inspect every part of your unit that could be causing issues. If you’ve ever wondered what happens when we disappear into your attic or backyard, these are the 19 steps our technicians take to maintain your system.

Be Smart, Check in Advance. CARFAX — Your Vehicle History.

CARFAX — Your Vehicle History Expert

Sometimes what you don't know can't hurt you, but that's not the case when buying a used car. As an independent vehicle history provider, at CARFAX we've made it our mission to tell you everything you need to know by uncovering as many events as possible from the previous life of a used car. Our primary goal is to help you get to know your next car from the inside out before deciding to make an investment that will be part of you and your family's everyday life. We believe your next car shouldn't be hiding anything from you.

CARFAX Vehicle History Reports contain over 28 billion historical records from 20 European countries, the US and Canada, which are updated daily with new information.

Even if you live in a country we don't collect vehicle data from, it's still always worth checking the Vehicle Identification Number without obligation. The used car import and export market is booming and many owners would be surprised to find out exactly what happened to their vehicle during its previous life abroad.

Privacy for Customers — Transparency over Vehicles

Let's be clear: Although we strive to find every detail of a vehicle's life so far, we are focused only on the vehicle's history, and do not collect any information on previous owners. The information we provide relates solely to the vehicle, its odometer reading, any accidents that have been covered up, where the vehicle comes from and much more — it never gets personal. We've uncovered irreparable damage several times in the past, but other times our vehicle history checks draw a blank — and sometimes that's actually a good thing.

Second Hand — Not Second Best

Did you know that considerably more used cars are sold than new cars? We think this second-hand system is nothing short of fantastic. However, it goes without saying that it gives rise to different methods and tactics: Some sellers will disguise a car that's been in an accident under a fresh coat of paint, tamper with the odometer or conceal theft. This is one of the less appealing aspects of buying second hand. Our goal is to establish trusting relationships between buyers and sellers, since this is the best way to help customers make the right decision. Your new car should be reliable and make you feel safe, as well as make you feel like you haven't paid too much.

But more than anything else, we don't want you or your family unknowingly sitting behind the wheel of a vehicle that isn't 100% safe. This is why we strive to take these vehicles off the road, which not only makes the used car market safer but our streets safer too.

CARFAX — 35+ Years of Experience in Vehicle Histories

CARFAX was founded in the US in 1984 and expanded into Europe in 2007. Around 100 team members spread across six European offices process vehicle information from 22 countries.

Fostering strategic partnerships with registration authorities, law enforcement agencies, government departments, insurance companies, inspection centers and numerous other leading companies around the world has enabled us to compile a unique international database for vehicle histories. We use this database to help make the used car market more transparent. We give everyone in the process of buying a used car access to what is currently the world's most comprehensive source for vehicle history reports, and is growing day by day.

We remain neutral and independent despite our partnerships — our sole purpose is help customers make an informed choice and ensure their safety and the safety of their family. This includes never collecting any personal details — we do not accept any PII from data sources amongst the information we provide about a vehicle. We ensure that data protection laws are observed at all times. Furthermore, we always collect our data in compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks — in all the countries in which we are active. We expressly distance ourselves from illegal activities such as data theft, scraping and hacking.

Store Manager in Raleigh, NC

poorly run

was given a store to run that was terrible and they wanted it to be turned around in less then 2 months time, poor location. poor upper management, lack of training for all employees, the technicians they hire either are some what ok or do not know how to properly diagnose a vehicle, cost of an oil change is way to high for the product they sell, very cheap oil selling it at a very high cost. would renovate the building during business hors which makes it impossible to have customers come in

Tire Changer in Pensacola, FL

Fun place

No complaints this was a good place to work at, would still be working here if the store I worked at did not close down, good company to work for and recommend it to anyone

Training will last for one week, for 8-10 hours per day, and training will be held Monday through Friday of each week for a total of 46.5 hours of classroom instruction. The franchisor will hold initial training at its national training center, currently in Leesburg, Virginia. In addition to initial training, before franchisees begin operating the center, they or their employee must successfully complete engine performance (Level 1) course, which is one week long. Within one year after franchisees open their center, they must attain and maintain full technical certification of the center. Franchisees or their principal or employee must successfully complete courses on five subjects to attain full technical certification. Each level consists of 40 hours each of classroom and hands-on training. The franchisor also offers optional training on brakes, air-conditioning, and preventative maintenance. Technical training is also available at field locations that the franchisor designates, on a periodic basis. In some circumstances, the franchisor may provide the initial training session in the field. The franchisor does provide ongoing/continuous and advanced training.

The assigned area is not conditional on sales volume, market penetration, or any other circumstances. Obligations and Restrictions: Unless the franchisor permits otherwise in writing, franchisees must devote full time, energy, and best efforts to the management and operation of their center. Franchisees must successfully complete the initial training program. Franchisees must offer all Precision Tune Auto Care products and services required. Franchisees must use the center solely for the operation of the franchised business, must keep the center open and in normal operation for the minimum hours and days specified or approved in writing, and must refrain from using or permitting the use of the center for any other purpose or activity at any time without prior written consent.
