Suga’s Street Style: The 10 Best Off-Duty Looks BTS’s Min Yoongi Has Blessed Us With
If there’s something K-pop idols know how to do right, it’s blow our minds away with their outfits, both on and off stage. Some of them prefer to keep it simple and relaxed when off-duty while others use the opportunity to turn any street or airport into a runway, and to be honest, we’re here for both scenarios. Someone who has found a balance between the two is BTS’s Suga, who embraces his personal style while feeling comfortable, paying special attention to details with a little help from accessories and statement pieces.
Prints on Prints
If there’s something Yoongi loves and knows how to do on style, it’s wearing prints over prints, with plaids being one of his absolute favorites. This one’s a simple black outfit covered with an oversized long sleeve plaid shirt, tartan scarf, and another one of his signatures: a beanie. Put them together and you have a Suga outfit for the win.
Not saying that this is probably my favorite Suga outfit in existence, but maybe, just maybe, that’s what I’m saying. Chanel all over but in a subtle way, a touch of drama with the long coat over a leather jacket, and the softest of beanies… in a way you could say this outfit represents Yoongi’s personality to perfection.
I feel like not talking about this look would be… well, a sin. Known as the “emo boy” outfit, this one caught ARMY’s attention the moment it saw the light of day. A simple black-pants-white-shirt set paired with some fun earrings and necklaces, and of course, Suga’s grown out hair covering his eyes turned this one into an absolute favorite for many.
I know you were waiting for this one. I gotta admit, I think about this outfit more than I should, and I may or may not have recreated it during winter. It’s an icon when talking Yoongi’s fashion: black everything. But even when some may think there’s not much thought that went into it, oh boy, there is. The bag, the hat, the shoes, and even the belt, the buttons, and zippers. It’s all perfectly matched on a black-silver pantone that he pulls off like no other.
Deep down in our hearts, we’re always missing Mint Yoongi, am I right? While he’s able to pull off every single outfit, his mint hair and camel coat here are a perfect match. As it often goes, his all-black outfit gets a touch of drama with an oversize camel coat, long necklace, and once again, the signature beanie.
Yes, yes, we know Yoongi loves an all-black outfit, but he sometimes surprises us with colorful ones too. This one in particular is a fan favorite because of how the colors brighten up his features and skin color. Did you know this sweater sold out right after he showed up wearing it? It’s an easy-to-replicate look if you own a pair of blue jeans, because an oversized sweater look is always a great look.
It’s All in the Details
Here’s a perfect example of how Suga is all about details. At first sight you’d say this is just black pants, black shoes, white shirt, blue coat, but it’s the little details that make this a whole fashion-worthy look. The handbag, the bucket hat, the plaid shirt under the coat slightly peeking out. Another outfit we just can’t help but fall in love with.
Here’s another all-black one, but on a different vibe, because who said there was one way to do all-black? It’s similar to the one above, but completely different because of one simple reason: the oversized shirt. This look is one of those multifaceted ones: wearable both at morning or nighttime, for business, for fun… an all-in-one look we love how Suga pulls off.
Time For Shorts!
We don’t see Suga in shorts as often anymore, but, oh how we enjoyed it that summer when he was very into the trend. This one in particular is a favorite because it’s still very much him in prints and colors but different from what we’re used to. Once again, accessories such as the headphones, the hat, the backpack, and the sneakers turn the outfit into a runway-worthy one.
It’s a Plaid World
Here’s another item that sold out because of Suga wearing it: the mythical yellow plaid shirt. As I’ve mentioned above, Suga has a capacity to bring outfits into a whole different world by adding a great statement piece to it. In this case, it was this plaid shirt that now dozens of brands have replicated while using photos of Yoongi as an example (I mean, I’d be sold too).

When Suga dropped his second mixtape, D-2 under his solo moniker, Agust D, it sent fans in a frenzy. Along with the songs he put out, his look for the title track, Daechwita also turned many heads. The title of the song refers to a genre of Korean traditional music, usually performed in royalty processions or military ceremonies using wind and percussion instruments.
To go along with the military theme, Suga wore a green hooded multi-pocket jacket from R13 and slim-leg jeans from his favourite, Fear of God, finished off with a pair of sneakers from Jordan. But it's his long hair, parted in the middle with an undercut that really made this look iconic.
For his look as a king in the music video, Suga wears a modernised hanbok complete with long blond hair, a look that syncs so well with his sword dance, both hanbok and hair just swinging along. This look showcases the mixing of elements of traditional Korean music and visuals.

6 Signature Suga Fashion Moves That Make Me Weak as a Kitten
Min Yoongi is proof that some people are just born legends. The underground Korean rapper turned Grammy-nominated global idol has a birthday today, so in celebration of the BTS holiday, please indulge me while I brag about this humble genius.
Let's start with his talent. His songs are the emotional equivalent of a hot cup of coffee in the middle of a blizzard — though he'd probably prefer a metaphor of an iced Americano on a sweltering summer day. Either way, that's how a Suga song feels when you hear it. His music is a soul-soothing elixir hitting you just when and where you need it most, warming you with lyrics so utterly authentic and honest that each of his over 100 credited songs are each a hallmark in the human experience. Suga is a true artist so deeply devoted to creating beautiful music that he even wrote a love song about his piano — be right back, swooning over this tough and tender talented man.
He doesn't hold back — another trait that endears him to his legions of fans — and has spoken honestly about mental health, his hate of societal norms and unrealistic beauty standards, and support of the LGBTQIA+ community. ("Everyone is equal.")
Suga is also low-key the comedian of BTS. His deadpan delivery never fails to crack up his fellow members, and honestly, will you ever hear a better bullfrog impression than Yoongi's? As if all that weren't enough for one man to embody, he's also so beautiful and so stylish it will disrupt your sense of reality. That Daegu DNA blessed the world with a man so gorgeous that some days it's hard to tell if he's real or if he just walked out of a Vermeer painting. And his style! Even in sweatpants and a baseball hat — maybe especially in sweatpants and a baseball hat — Suga can cause a global meltdown. With that in mind and in honor of his birthday, here are 6 signature Suga fashion moves that make me weak as a kitten.

We're all simps for headband Suga — sorry, I don't make the rules.
It's a look that is equally as gorgeous on both sides of his personality: they become scorchingly hot when Suga wears them while burning the stage and become heart-meltingly cute on domestic Yoongi shopping for groceries. If headband-Suga walked up to me, looked me straight in the eyes, and asked me to walk into a volcano for him, there's a good chance I'm dipping my toes in lava before he can say, hajima.

Ayo, Suga — what are you doing to us?
Nothing makes me collapse into a fetal position faster than Suga's commitment to fuzzy sweaters. Every time he shows up somewhere looking as soft as a kitty, my heart just cannot take it. Maybe it's because the cozy aesthetic increases his husband-material-quotient by 100%. Maybe it's seeing this deeply intense, no-nonsense No. 1 Billboard rapper who's secure enough in his masculinity to wear whatever he wants, regardless of his tough guy brand.

Min Yoongi in glasses just hits differently, doesn't he?
He's not the first idol to embrace fun eyewear (hello, Park Jimin!), but his selcas with glasses give me whiplash with their duality. Wire-rimmed wearing genius producer, tinted shade donning hypebeast, oversized specs only a model could pull off — the vibes are endless and oh so pretty.

Since BTS's 2013 debut, Suga's devotion to all-black everything has been part of his dark (and wild) allure. He is the Korean Johnny Cash — the guitar-strumming man in black. What else could we expect from the idol who cited Batman as one of his style heroes?

Tuxedos & Suits
Oh, tuxedoed Suga. I love you more than you love a bowl of tangerines.
I am forever-pining over all of Bangtan in their beautiful suits and tuxedos, but Suga wears them especially well. There's just something about an underground rapper swapping his baggy streetwear for a dapper red carpet moment (but not losing an ounce of that confident swagger) that does me in. I need at least one tuxedoed Min Yoongi pic a day to keep my youthful glow.

The (Too Short) D-2 Era
Okay, this isn't technically a "style move" but I really do need to give Agust D his due applause. This era wore me out, kids.
Late in May 2020, when the full flex of the pandemic was really hitting us, Suga dropped his alter-Bangtan ego's second mixtape, D-2. It was a light in the dark. A bright and brilliant album just when everything else in the world was feeling especially bleak. I clung to Agust D's quick-tongued talent and agile dual-language wordplay like a weighted blanket, especially the lead single "Daechwita." I streamed it for days, listening to it so much that I would wake up with it playing in my brain before I even opened my eyes in the morning.

I also clung to the breathtaking set of new visuals that Agust D gifted to the world. Min Yoongi took on two roles: a sword-wielding, swaggering ice-blonde king and a dangerous rebel with a seriously sexy undercut. Pick your poison, Yoongi stans.
By the way, Suga got his first birthday present last week when the music video for "Daechwita" hit 200 million views.
Happy birthday, King. Here's hoping your next present comes on Sunday, on the Grammys stage.

Clothes style suga
K-pop band BTS has taken the world by storm. Not only are they awe-inspiring performers, they’re also considered fashion icons. According to an interview with Billboard, fashion is an important part of them because the clothes they wear influence how they feel when expressing themselves and performing.
Each member of BTS has their own unique style. Suga, one of three rappers in BTS, is particularly influenced by a specific DC Comics superhero.
Suga’s style is considered laid-back & understated. On his days off, he prefers to go with comfort over anything. He’s a big fan of an oversized fit. Per Soompi, The BTS rapper loves to sport Japanese streetwear brands such as Mastermind & Visvim. As far as bags, shoes, and accessories go, Suga can often be seen wearing high-end luxury designers such as Gucci, Cartier, and Balanciaga.
Although Suga keeps his outfits simple, he enjoys spicing things up with accessories. In an interview with Vogue, he said, “I love accessories, especially bracelets and rings. King rings, the really big ones. I’ll wear a lot of them at once.”
In an interview with Billboard, Suga said, “Since we have to wear a lot of uncomfortable clothes, I like to wear comfortable clothes.” When asked “How important is fashion in music?”, Suga answered, “Fashion and music are inseparable”. He added, “Music is not just about listening any more. You can see it nowadays. So I think visuals are very important.”
In an interview with GQ, BTS sat down to talk about their style heroes. Suga took the word “hero” quite literally, as his answer was Batman from The Dark Knight. He explained, “He’s one of the few superheroes who’s a weak human, and I just like that about him.” Yoongi’s favorite color to wear is black, so this makes perfect sense. He has rocked a monochromatic black outfit numerous times.
Suga continued, “My mother liked clothes a lot, so as a child I was mostly very well-dressed.” He told GQ when he was a teenager, he preferred flashier clothes. As an adult, he values comfort in attire and wears what makes him comfortable. Batman’s suit doesn’t look super comfortable, so Suga must be pulling from the all black look for his inspo.
Suga’s love for Batman appears to seep into his solo music as well. Released under his second stage name Agust D, his music is very dark & raw. For instance, he has rapped about mental health and seeking psychiatric help.
Dress like Suga
YouTuber Jennifer Lai put together a few different outfits inspired by Suga. You don’t need to wear Japanese streetwear brands or high-end luxury accessories to recreate his style. In the first outfit, Lai went for a casual, black monochromatic look. She wore a black baseball cap from Urban Outfitters. Lai paired a loose, cropped American Apparel t-shirt with high-waisted lounge shorts from H&M. For shoes, she wore sandals.
For Lai’s second outfit, she switched out the black t-shirt for an oversized white t-shirt from Anti Social Social Club. The third & final look consisted of a plain white tee, a pierced black baseball cap, and an oversized, thrifted black & white flannel top. She also wore a black mask to match Suga in the photo. The video was filmed in 2017, but wearing a mask when sick has been customary in Asian cultures long before COVID-19.
In a video titled “How to Dress Like BTS” posted on March 9th, 2020, Lai styled a more sophisticated Suga inspired look.
In an outfit perfect for fall & winter, the YouTuber paired a thin, black turtleneck sweater with high-waisted leather pants. She wore a chic, black Berksha coat overtop. For shoes, she went with chunky, platform oxfords from Dolls Kill, but classic black oxfords or boots would work as well. For accessories, she wore a newsboy cap and burgundy satchel from Angela Roi.
Which BTS member do you look to for fashion inspiration? We are usually inspired by Jimin’s outfits, but we might try out the black monochrome look with a jewel toned bag for the fall!
Her elastic breasts pressed against me, and the pleasant smell and delicate skin brought my excitement to the limit, and unable to hold. On, I began to kiss her open shoulder and neck. Noticing that I did not meet resistance, I put my hands on her round elastic ass and stretched my lips to hers.
And we started kissing.
