To respond to assigned Portfolio activities, follow these steps:

1. Log into your student account
2. At the top of the page, you will see any assigned activities under "To Do" (Please Note: You can click "View All" to access all activities). Click the blue "Start" button next to the activity you would like to work on.
3. Use the tools and follow the prompts in the activity page. Click "Close" to exit the post, "Save" to mark it as a draft, or "Hand in" to submit it to your teacher for approval. You can add a caption at the bottom in the "Add Caption" box. You can add a voice recording by clicking the blue microphone. 

   Once you have submitted the activity and it is approved by your teacher, it will be posted to your Student Portfolio for you and your parents to see!

iOS

2. Tap on the name of the class that you would like to work on an activity in (You will see the number of activities assigned in each class on the homescreen)                                                       
3. At the top of the screen, you will see all of your assigned activities for the class under “To Do”                                           

4. Tap on the activity to see its instructions. When you are ready to begin, select “Start”                                   

5. Use the tools and follow the prompts to complete the activity. Tap "Close" when you are finished with your edits.

6. Either select the downward facing arrow in the upper left corner if you want to save your post as a draft or select the blue paper airplane button in the upper right corner when you are ready to submit the post to your teacher for approval. You can also click "Edit worksheet" if you want to go back and work on the activity some more.

Once you have submitted the activity and it is approved by your teacher, it will be posted to your Student Portfolio for you and your parents to see!

Activities are a wonderful way to assign classwork (or even homework) to your students, and to keep track of who's completed an Activity and who hasn't! 

1. To assign an activity to your students, log into your ClassDojo teacher account using a computer
2. Choose your class
3. Tap the "Portfolios" tab
4. Tap "Create activity" 
   
5. Enter an Activity name, i.e. "Reading reflection"
6. Enter Activity instructions, i.e. "Write five sentences about the 10 pages you read last night, and include a two-sentence description of your favorite character so far!"
7. Select how you want students to respond to the Activity (i.e. Text entry, Video recording, Photo, or Drawing)
8. Tap "Assign to class"  
   

 The Activity will be immediately assigned directly to your students and it will appear under their "To-Dos" in their account. You can tap on an Activity in your queue to see which students have responded to the activity. You can also tap the “Edit” button next to the gear icon on the Activity to archive it or delete it from your Activity queue.

Currently, teachers can only assign Activities to students on the Web. Students, however, can respond to Activities from Chromebooks, laptops, iPads, and Android devices.
