First off, we’d like to clear one thing up for you guys…
As Pain has mentioned, Newegg will waive the restocking fee on all items returned due to manufacturing defects. We will also waive the restocking fee if the item is unopened, OR if you place a new order for a similar item of equal or greater value. Simply contact our Customer Service dept and we’ll be glad to assist. If your item is defective, we’ll also issue you a “shipping credit” to cover the return cost of shipping. We’d never expect our customers to take a loss in a situation such as returning a defective product!

To Alazeer—we see that your last post was on Aug 15 and that your RMA was at step 3 at that point. I’m guessing that your replacement has already been shipped out. However, if you have not yet received the email with your tracking number, simply PM us with your RMA # and we’ll be glad to PM it to you.

Synopsis

Newegg's policy is tricky due to the number of special cases (rebate involved, CPU purchase, memory purchase, etc.). It’s best to consult the detailed policy statement in order to determine the policy the appropriate policy details.

General Policy

These are Newegg.ca’s (“Newegg”, “we” or “our”) Standard Return Policies applicable only to products purchased by you directly from the Newegg.ca website.

•All product returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. You may obtain an RMA number by contacting Newegg Customer Service through any of the methods provided at www.newegg.ca/HelpInfo/CustomerService.aspx.

•Products that are not eligible for return and will be sent back to you at your cost and expense if received by us:

◦Any product not purchased from Newegg.ca

◦Any product without a valid, readable serial number, including but not limited to products with missing, damaged, altered, or otherwise unreadable serial number

◦Any product that is returned without all original packaging and accessories, including the retail box, manuals, cables, and all other items originally included with the product

◦Any product from which the UPC code has been removed from its packaging

◦Any product that exhibits physical damage

◦Any product for which you have submitted a mail-in rebate

Mail-In Rebate Policy

Any product offering a mail-in rebate is not returnable to Newegg once the rebate has been filed. Be sure that the product is functional and that you intend to keep the product before sending in for your rebate. Products missing UPC codes or serial numbers from the box are NOT returnable. Only the product manufacturer can replace a defective item missing the UPC code.

Combo, Bundle and Kit Specials

Combo, Bundle, and Kit Specials include two or more items that must be purchased together in order to receive a discount.

Items sold as part of a Combo, Bundle or Kit may be returned individually for replacement within the applicable Newegg.com Return Policy Period for that individual item.

If an individual Combo, Bundle or Kit item is returned for a refund, the applicable discount will be voided, and the discounted amount will be deducted from the amount of the refund. If your combo/bundle/kit discount amount is greater than the individual unit price of the item you wish to return, then the item cannot be returned for a refund; you will need to return all items in the combo/bundle/kit in order to receive a refund.

- For example: if your combo/bundle/kit discount was $5, and you return one of the items for a refund, the $5 will be deducted from your RMA refund amount.

Out-of-Stock (Back-Order) Items

If Newegg no longer carries an item that is sent in for replacement, or if that item is simply out of stock, the item will be sent to our Back-Order RMA Department. You will be notified via email of two options: 1) Newegg can send you a comparable replacement item, or 2) Newegg can issue you a refund at the current market value of the product. A current-market-value refund may not exceed the original invoice price. If the item is returned within 30 days of the original invoice date, a full refund will be issued.

Quantity Purchases

While Newegg is more than happy to fill your order for a quantity of ten (10) or more of any given item in our inventory on a single purchase order, please understand that an order of that size, once purchase is completed, is automatically non-refundable. All other specific conditions related to the ordered item still apply, including any and all stipulations relative to any available replacement return policies. Products that state "This item is covered by Newegg.ca's Replacement Only 30-Day Return Policy", or items labeled as “Non-refundable” (or similar labeling) must be returned to Newegg within 30 days of the invoice date for this policy to apply. Products covered by this return policy may only be returned for a replacement of the same or equivalent item. “Return” constitutes receipt of the product by Newegg, and not the mere issuance of an RMA.

The following conditions are not acceptable for return, and will result in the merchandise you have returned to Newegg being returned to you:

•Any CPU that is physically damaged

•Improper installation of CPU fans and/or improper clocking may cause CPUs to chip. CPUs that are chipped, burnt or have bent/broken pins are considered physically damaged and cannot be returned for refund or replacement. Physical damage includes (but is not limited to) improper handling and any other type of damage sustained by irregular use.

Memory (modules, flash) Standard 30-Day Return Policy

Standard Computer Return Policy

This is our Standard 30-Day Return Policy. Items covered by this policy (those products for which Newegg states "This item may be returned for a replacement or refund within 30 days only") must be returned to Newegg within 30 days of the invoice date for this policy to apply. “Return” constitutes receipt of the product by Newegg, and not the mere issuance of an RMA.

The following conditions are not acceptable for return, and will result in the merchandise you have returned to Newegg being returned to you:

•Any desktop PC, notebook or tablet PC that is free from defects in materials or workmanship

•Any desktop PC, notebook or tablet PC that has physical damage due to abuse or improper use

•Any desktop PC, notebook or tablet PC that is missing any accessories or packaging including, but not limited to, AC adapter, battery, pack, manuals, carrying case (if any)

A defective Desktop PC, Notebook, or Tablet PC that is returned for a replacement may be repaired or replaced in Newegg's sole discretion, unless otherwise required by law. While we strive to adhere to our own standard RMA processing times, we cannot guarantee that these times will be met, especially in situations where the item must be sent to the manufacturer for repair. Some computer systems will require pre-authorization from the manufacturer technical support in order for an RMA to Newegg to be authorized.

Television Standard 30-Day Return Policy

This is our Standard 30-Day Return Policy. Items covered by this policy (those products for which Newegg states "This item may be returned for a replacement or refund within 30 days only") must be returned to Newegg within 30 days of the invoice date for this policy to apply. “Return” constitutes receipt of the product by Newegg, and not the mere issuance of an RMA.

This policy includes (but is not limited to) CRT TVs, DLP TVs, Home Theater Projectors, LCD TVs, and Plasma TVs.

NOTE: For televisions above 37 inches: An adult (age 18 or older) is required to sign the shipping courier's release form to complete delivery. By signing this release, you are acknowledging and agreeing to Newegg's Policy and Agreement that you cannot return the television to Newegg for a refund, and that the condition of the delivery is satisfactory. This is our Detailed Open Box Item Return Policy. Newegg often sells items that are listed as "open-box." Because these items are sold at greatly reduced prices, they are subject to a limited refund-only return policy. Such items can only be returned within 30 days of the applicable invoice date. “Return” constitutes receipt of the product by Newegg, and not the mere issuance of an RMA. Newegg cannot provide replacement service for these items, as their stock is limited. The entire risk as to the quality and performance of these items is with the buyer. These items have been tested for functionality, but may have superficial physical defects including, but not limited to, scratches, dings or dents. Should these items exhibit a functional defect following their purchase, the buyer (not the manufacturer, distributor, or Newegg) assumes the entire cost of all necessary servicing or repairs, unless otherwise required by law. Bulk Item Return Policy

Therefore, you are urged to carefully examine the box your bulk item ships in before signing for the package. Should you observe any damage to the shipping box, or if the wrong product was sent, you must refuse delivery while the shipping courier is still on the premises. Newegg.ca does not offer any express warranties. However, many of the products available through Newegg.ca are covered by Manufacturers' Warranties. If a product is covered by a manufacturer's warranty, it will be stated on that product's web page. Detailed manufacturer warranty information can also be obtained for free by contacting our Customer Service department. Adobe Student Edition software is non-refundable. It may only be returned to Newegg if the DVD–ROM received is damaged. No other replacement RMAs are permitted for any reason.

Major Appliances sold by Newegg (including but not limited to full size Refrigerators, Washers, Dryers, Dishwashers and Stoves) cannot be returned to Newegg.com for refund or replacement service once the product has been received and the delivery receipt has been signed by the customer. Therefore, you are urged to carefully examine the product before signing for the package. Should you observe any damage to the actual product, immediately call 1-800-390-1119. You must call the number before signing for the product and while the shipping courier is still on the premises. Defective products may be covered by the product manufacturer’s warranty.

How long for Newegg CPU RMA replacement?

Argh..

I sent them an E-Mail yesterday asking what the story was, since it was still listed as "received". Today I get this back:

I'm more than a little mad, considering I went through all the steps required: put all the materials in the original packaging, ensured that the CPU could NOT get damaged or move at all in the package, and put that original CPU box inside another box with styrofoam peanuts. I have no idea how the CPU could've been damaged, unless the USPS decided to play soccer with it.

So I call them up, and ask for Paul. He says that when they glanced at it, it seemed to be damaged, but they didn't get a chance to give it a good look yet. I should expect to receive a final estimation of the condition of the item by tomorrow night. I've spent a lot of money there (as did many of us) and I don't like how their RMA process takes so long and is indefinite. Where's that quality Newegg service that I've heard so much about?

Paul also mumbled something about how AMD won't take the retail CPU back from Newegg, but the would take it back from me on the retail warranty. I distinctly remember some AMD page saying that I was to return CPUs back to my retailer for the warranty period. What's going on?

NEWEGG and COBRATYPE (vendor) selling dangerous and defective products and NO warranties. The computer they sold was COBRATYPE. I would not buy any product through Newegg since they don’t provide any more than a 30 day warranty and do not care for safety of its buyers. Computer went in the garage and they kept my money. Returned within 7 days of receipt in all the original packaging exactly as it had been received (nothing removed from it). Newegg refused refund saying that the serial number was missing. I argued - they refused again. Got my PayPal account involved and got a full refund after I returned the product back to them a 2nd time. Took me 3 months of my time for this. Never again, Newegg.

In early December, New Egg advertised an LG Oled TV with 36 months of interest-free financing. I applied for the offer and was approved. However, I only received 12 months interest-free, not the 36 advertised by New Egg. In addition, New Egg never sent information for my 10% cashback refund to Retail Me Not. I contacted customer service. They requested information, screenshots, etc, which I provided (in some cases, more than once). After 3 months, they have yet to offer any explanation for what might have happened, and to my knowledge have never contacted the credit card company, or made any effort to resolve my issue. In fact, their latest communication was a request for information I had sent them three months ago. I rarely if ever post reviews, and on the few occasions I’ve had cause to complain to a retailer, my issue was resolved quickly and easily. But this has easily been the worst retail experience I’ve ever had (online or otherwise).

I have ordered on and off from NewEgg for years without issue until now. I ordered a cell phone and also accessories - over $250 between two orders. They were never received. Apparently the sender chose to send it via USPS, apparently no insurance, no signature confirmation for receipt, nothing but tracking on one package - there were two orders. The one package was never received so I contacted NewEgg so far 3 times. All I have been told is to take it up with USPS. I have asked more than once for evidence from NewEgg on exactly WHERE they mailed the package, since it doesn't show anything on the USPS tracking. I also asked them to assist in locating it since they shipped it apparently without any signature confirmation or delivery confirmation of any kind for something as expensive and high theft as this.

So far, I keep getting the runaround and get nothing - no information, no assistance, nothing. I am very very disappointed in this company now and if this is not resolved, I will never use them again. I understand things getting lost in the mail - it is common now ESPECIALLY with USPS. But that is all the more reason for the sender to insure the item, ensure that there is some sort of delivery confirmation method for tracking purposes in cases like this, and to provide customer support that is adequate and helpful. And as with every other company I deal with, until the customer receives the package, the company sending it is still on the hook. Other companies provide refunds or replace the items when they are not received but apparently this is not NewEgg policy. So customer satisfaction is not a concern with them I guess.

This was resolved through the representative because of a complaint I filed with the BBB. Before that happened my claim was turned down again because they said I hadn't returned the junk mouse that was sent to me. Newegg had already sent me an email a month earlier confirming they received it and a rep confirmed it was marked as in the seller's warehouse.

When I called again they got a supervisor, who asked a bunch of questions trying to find a excuse to deny the claim. He eventually asked if I still had the tracking. I didn't because it was sent back a long time ago and newegg had already confirmed on the phone and through email that it was received. The supervisor told me "if you don't have your tracking number anymore you can't prove you returned it, goodbye" and hung up on me. I still have the email confirming that it was returned.

Not the rep on here or the BBB rep, but separately, newegg sent me an email calling my refund an "exception" refund. Their name for it is telling. They consider any honoring of their guarantee an exception to standard practice.

Newegg has a marketplace guarantee but they refuse to honor it. I ordered a Corsair HARPOON RGB Wireless Rechargeable Gaming Mouse from a 3rd party seller on Dec 3rd, 2019 for the amount of $53.97, including tax. On Jan 4th, 2020 I received a generic knock off WIRED mouse that I wouldn't pay $5 for. It shipped from China even though when I purchased it said it would ship from the US. I called Newegg the next day and filed for a refund or replacement. I sent Newegg pics of what I received. They gave me the address to return it to and an RMA Number. I paid $10 for shipping.

On Jan 12th I received an email confirming it was received ON JAN 11TH. But on Jan 11th I received an email from seller, through Newegg, that they rejected the return because it was under manufacturer warranty. Up until then the seller didn't respond. Jan 13th Newegg accepted that argument and closed the RMA. I have no money or mouse at this point, not even the cheap one.

I didn't have a chance to call Newegg until Jan 20th. They agreed it was odd the RMA was rejected for warranty repair even though I wasn't returning it because it was broken, but not what I ordered. Newegg reopened the RMA, said I need to try to resolve it with seller before filing a claim with newegg. I pointed out that the company had over sixty 1 egg reviews (that was all of their reviews) of other people who had been scammed in the past month. They sent an email on my behalf.

The seller responded to that telling me the same day "Dear, Please do not rush to return the goods. Please give us a few days to investigate. We need to contact the warehouse to ask what the situation is. You can use the product first. We will give you a refund afterwards, so sorry for the inconvenience." Note that at this time the item had already been returned and received over a week before this. Later that day they rejected the RMA claiming they had already sent me a replacement. They gave the same tracking number that was on my original order.

I waited the required week and filed a marketplace claim on Jan 22nd. Newegg sent me a shipping label to return the mouse they sent me, even though it had already been returned. On Jan 27th Newegg rejected my claim. I called to find out why on Feb 8th, cause I knew I needed to set aside time to deal with stupidity, and they said that I had already been issued a replacement and that the tracking number said I got it on Jan 4th. I asked what day I received the original order on. The Rep said Jan 4th. I asked how I could have gotten the replacement and the original on the same day. They weren't sure, must be time travel related. I asked for the tracking number, they gave it to me. I pointed out that was the tracking number on the original order. They reopened the claim and said I had to wait a week for an investigation. That's what they said before.

I waited the other required week. Over the course of that week they resent me all the emails about rejecting the return cause it was covered under manufacturer warranty, receiving the return, sending the replacement back in time using the same tracking number as the original order. It's been over a week now. At this point it's been 24 days since I filed a Marketplace Claim GUARANTEE with newegg. It's been 40 days since I returned the junk mouse they sent me. It's been 81 days since the newegg approved seller took my money and ripped me off.

I still have NO MOUSE, NO MONEY, and I'm tired of having the same conversation over and over again with a different Rep every week, just for them to tell me it'll take ANOTHER WEEK to investigate and then then turn me down because the scam seller said they sent a replacement, when they obviously didn't. Newegg eventually pulled the seller. They had over eighty 1 egg reviews of other people who got scammed the same as me. They are perfectly aware of the reality of the situation. They are just giving me the run around hoping I'll eventually give up.

I purchased a Veiu Wifi Mini Smart Video Doorbell by Eques from Newegg on June 29, 2020 and after less than 3 months it stopped working. I immediately contacted Newegg for a return and they informed me it was past the allowable return date (by 3 days!). I have been trying to get this resolved for 8 months to no avail. It's a really long story, but I also purchased a Square Trade Protection Plan which I could not use because the item was still under manufacturer warranty. Problem? Manufacturer is in China. Without even seeing or knowing what the problem was, they wanted me to pay $18 shipping for a part that may or may not be the problem--I refused. Went back to Newegg and they won't do anything because of their return policy.

I disputed with my credit card company but because so much time had passed in between each contact (waiting for response), they also refused to do anything. So now I have a $150 item that does not work and I'm out that money to buy a different item. I will never buy an Eques product again, and I will certainly not buy from Newegg again!

Hold on tight people! This is going to be a long review. I am a first time Newegg customer. I bought a Ryzen 3700X CPU processor from Newegg, along with a motherboard and RAM memory. I received the first package on 1/15/2021, which only contained the RAM memory. I assumed that the processor would be delivered along with my motherboard in a separate package I was waiting on. On 1/17/2021, I decided to check my Newegg order history just to make sure it would arrive with my motherboard. Lo and behold! It showed that the CPU processor was supposed to be delivered with my RAM. Unfortunately, it wasn't there. I then looked up Newegg's policy on missing items. This is their policy on missing items:

"Item is missing from your order. If an item is missing from your order, please follow the below steps: If there is more than one package in your order, make sure they have all been delivered. Carefully check the packing material (smaller items may be hidden). If you can’t find the item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery."

After reading that, I filed a claim with them on 1/18/2021. I even took the extra step and reached out to their customer service on the same day. They told me to take photos of the shipping box and send an email to their followup email account. Knowing that my photos were over 25MB, I still sent it anyways. I was told that it would take 7 - 10 business days and that I would receive a status update. I waited 7 business days, no status update from their claims team. On 1/25/2021, I reached out to their customer service again, and was told "Oh, the 18th is a holiday, so you will hear back on 1/26." Alright cool, the 18th was MLK day. 4 days after reaching out to them on 1/25/2021, still no updates from their "claims" team.

On 1/29/2021, I reached out to their customer service again. I was told that they never received my photos and that the claim was denied on 1/27/2021. Really? No status update from their "claims" team and my claim was denied? My laptop went through a BSOD and had to reboot. I then reached out to their customer service again, and customer service rep was able to actually help. I had him stay on the chat line with me while I sent my photos. Again, I told the rep that my photos are over 25MB and I can't send it. The rep agreed to allow me to send my photos in two separate emails. The rep confirmed that he had received the photos and that I will hear back later that day. Ok cool. I waited and received an email at 7:21PM CST on 1/29/2021 saying that they updated and re-opened my claim. Nothing else about getting more updates.

I waited until 2/3/2021, still, NO UPDATES FROM THEIR "CLAIMS" TEAM! Really?! Again, being the diligent person I am, I reached out to their customer service again. This time I was told that 2/3/2021 is considered the 3rd business day and it is still pending. Ok, fine, I'll wait until 2/5. Today, 2/5/2021, still no status update from their claims team. Reached out to customer service again. Was told the same thing, claim denied. They claimed they "verified" and "thoroughly" investigated with their warehouse and the warehouse "claimed" they shipped it. I asked if I could appeal the decision or get a refund instead since I didn't receive the CPU I ordered? NOPE! With a denied claim, even if you provided your photo evidences and reached out multiple times, no refund for you!

The rep then said that she would send a request to their "claims" team to further check the claim status and it would take 1 - 2 business days for a response. Not satisfied with that response, I decided to check my review post on their Facebook page to see if they responded. Was told by "Louis" to send a private message about the claim. Sent a message about my claim and what was going on with it at 9:32AM CST. I received a response after a few hours, telling me the same thing. No refund or replacement on missing items since they "verified" it with their warehouse after a "thorough" investigation.

In the end, I lost over $325 for a CPU that I never received after 3 weeks of running around with their "claims" team and customer service. Please please please!!!! Have some common sense! Do not buy your items from newegg! They will not have your back! You will not get your money back, guaranteed! Take your money and go buy somewhere else! Save yourself the headache!

I have used Newegg since 2004 and have had to RMA a few times before with no issues. This time I had a motherboard dead on arrival and I have since shipped it out for RMA replacement and 20 days later no info. I use their live chat service and was told even though the board had been in their possession for 11 days it could take up to 4 more days to process and accept the RMA, and another 2 day to ship out. this would take it to 26 days since I shipped the item out. By the time I would receive the replacement it would put any other items I bought out of their return date and if any other hardware was defective I would be out of luck. I since have changed from replacement to return, which would take me over 1 month since I started this would process. (Still waiting to see if they screw me over on this as well) Newegg used to be know for their awesome customer service. Looks like those days are long gone.

Once a great place to purchase technology, NewEgg has slipped down the slippery slope the same way telephone and cable tv companies have. Their shipping department no longer packs with care, and a great deal of merchandise is damaged in transit, simply because they don't pack it well enough to make the trip. Their customer service has gone from nice, personalized telephone support to chat, which is completely worthless. The people who man the chat lines could care less about you or your problem, and generally tell you whatever they have to in order to get you to go away. Business policy quotes 2-3 days for refunds on returns. Currently, the chat people are claiming that their policy is 10+ days, plus a few more for "processing." They just don't care anymore. I can't recommend this company any longer.

Up to recently, I enjoyed making purchases on Newegg. I purchased many electronic and gaming systems without any problems. For Christmas, I ordered a “Glorious O” gaming mouse. It was a gift, so I just searched this title and trusted this was the item I had purchased, after all this was the title on the item. The item did not arrive until early January. On further inspection, this mouse wasn’t even from the same company. It was an off brand sold at Amazon for $15, I paid $84.

Ok so fine, I’ll just return it, right? Wrong, the seller denied my return and called it a “consumable” I was also going to be charged $12 to ship it and another $12 for restocking the item. So I contacted support, they emailed the seller and he claimed the picture was of the product and that was enough, even though he listed it as a different product all together.

I decided to make a negative review, to find many others had this same experience with this buyer with little to no help from Newegg. After searching the Newegg website for this same mouse, I found another buyer also selling this generic mouse calling it a glorious O, also the reviews were identical. Obviously, it was the same buyer under a different name. I filled a claim, it was also rejected. So now, I’m stuck with a $15 mouse that unpaid $84 for. Please, do not buy from Newegg. They do not stick to their seller standards, as this seller has violated at least 4 of the agreements they made to Newegg on creating an account. But after numerous attempts at alerting Newegg of this activity, it seems they simply do not care.

This is not first circus with Newegg and I should have learned my lesson, but because of a few dollars less than Amazon now I'm paying a different kind of price. So aggravating dealing with amateurs. Pay attention to the vendors that cleverly "hide" shipping terms (4 to 35 days, who in the right mind would accept 35 days?) because Newegg does NOT accept order cancellation. My vendor is unable to provide a tracking update. And their Claim process is also a joke, during my steps it "said claims to be resolved in 2 days", but when you talk to Customer Service it becomes 5 to 7 days, because they need to "hear" from the same vendor that replied with a self date cut-off of 15 days from order date (12/19/2020)....Do the math.... Stay away.

I purchased a NEW Power Color RED DRAGON Radeon RX 570 computer graphics card for a total of 185.71 and they sent me a USED/RETURNED or REFURBISHED graphics card. The inside of the box that holds the card securely was completely torn off. When I contacted them they said that I could return it BUT they could possibly send it back to me after inspection. WTF is that about? They sent me a used product that I paid top dollar to be sent a new product. They would not guarantee me that I would get a full refund or if the card would be sent back to me or a partial refund. What kind of business is this? They credited me 30.00 to my account for a future purchase and I decided to use it BUT you have to make a FULL PRICE PURCHASE then contact them and they will refund the credit. YEAH RIGHT.

I returned 2 of APC SUA1000XL purchased in November 2020 through Newegg website using RMA# issued by Newegg customer service. However, after the return was made, the customer service representative told me that a refund could not be issued because the seller (BTE) did not receive the returned items. I have a proof of delivery for both items but Newegg did not help to confirm with the seller that the items were returned. Instead, Newegg customer service cancelled RMA and told me I should spoke with the seller and inquire about a refund. I was shocked by the respond that they were not going to help me with the issue even though I bought the items on their website. I have been contacting the seller since then, but no response. So far, none of Newegg customer representative reached out to me to provide an update. I really hope they will refund $1443.98 soon, which I paid for nothing.

Fraudulent Bait and switch practices on Newegg. NO buyer protection on Newegg. Seller KOMTOP is a Scammer. Ordered a glorious O gaming mouse and received a fake knock off mouse. Returned within a few days of receiving only to have the return rejected for ASB Warranty (no idea what that is that?). Newegg customer support won’t help. This is fraud! Multiple reviews saying the same thing.

Updated on 04/14/2021: The nightmare began with a Black Friday purchase of a refurbish HP Workstation. Order #**. 1st, they lost the unit. In house. Instead of sending another unit, they launched an "investigation". That included over a week of ridiculous stages of the investigation before deciding to send my purchase to me almost 2 weeks late. 2nd, get the nice package, open the box, and the unit had obviously been dropped, broken, and the screen was gibberish. I sent it back with RMA. Once they get it they start another multi-stage process (acknowledge they have it, acknowledge it is in the box, investigate the damage, authorize replacement, initiate shipping, after almost 2 weeks, actually send the replacement).

3rd, 3rd unit boots and runs, very slowly but runs...for about 2-1/2 weeks when it crashes and looses the boot sector. Newegg tries to shove me off to HP. Zero help. I get a boot disk, format the drive and get Windows re-installed, slowly. It runs for about 2-1/2 weeks, crashes and looses the boot drive again. Newegg tells me too bad. I decide to replace the Solid State Drive. I pull the cover off and believe this or not, it doesn't have any of the promised 16gb of Memory! 2 empty slots! I get ahold of Newegg... They tell me too friggin bad and "take it to a repair shop"! I put my hand on the Bible this is 100% true!!!!

Original: Yay! Only 3 - 7 more days till I hopefully receive an actual, working laptop. Ordered on November 30th. Never, I repeat, never attempt to purchase from this site. You would not believe all the incredible stalls and non-service I've received. After it started I found the thousands of awful reviews for their customer service. They lost the original order... in house! Admitted it never left but still demanded a 6 day series of investigation processes, duplicate shipping 3-5 days and more delays before it gets dropped on the porch with no notice of any kind. Sent a smashed computer. Packaging was fine, it was smashed when it was packed. They received the return and used 3 - 5 days to literally open it. Then 3 - 5 days MORE to confirm it. 1 - 2 days now to prepare for another 3 - 5 days to ship another unit.

Newegg finally coerced the company to give me a refund back. Raysan Direct received the product back on January 20th, but was delaying the refund process, so Newegg stepped in. I am disgusted at companies like Raysan Direct for blatantly violating simple business protocols, like sending the correct item, and refunding items punctually. However because Newegg stepped in and expedited the refund process I am willing to change my initial rating. I received the final message from Newegg on 1/28/21, then on February 1st and 2nd I got my refund for the mouse and additional warranty.

My order number is Order# **. My returns Marketplace Guarantee Claim is # **. I asked for a refund several times after seeing bad reviews of Raysan Direct, on Newegg.com. I purchased two Steel Series Rival 310 CS:GO howl edition mice on the Newegg.com from the seller Raysan Direct. I waited over a month for the product to even get shipped to my house (bought 12/4/20). When I finally got the package, inside were two IDE to MSATA converters.

The Newegg.com did everything they could to delay a refund, until the seller could ship two false products to me. I feel like if their customer service was better, they could have issued me a refund when I asked for it. I inquired several times. (12/26/20)(1/3/21)(1/6/21). I hope this review improves return services, and customer service interactions between customers and the host-site of the sellers, NEWEGG.com.

I ordered all of the parts for a custom PC for my sons to build for Christmas. I ordered part on 11-28-20 and another order on 11-30-20. A few days before Christmas it became obvious my video cards and CPU fans would not arrive on time. I ordered from Ebay and Amazon and was able to get the components to my house before Christmas. Newegg acknowledged that the fans were lost and started a 7-10 day claim for me (not helpful). However, the video cards were supposedly on schedule from China. I was not aware I ordered something from China. I assumed it was all from Newegg. Wrong. Anyway after it was too late for Christmas I received my items that I now had no use for. I had to pay return shipping and restocking fees on the packages. Close to 80 dollars.

I understand they cannot control shipping times but a month is unreasonable by any standard and I should not be held financially responsible for the shipping delays. First and last dealings with Newegg. They only care about the bottom line and are not interested in taking care of the customers' needs unless it makes them a buck. Amazon always takes care of any issues I have and I should never have taken my business away from them. Lesson learned.

Not trustable. They canceled my Laser Printer HLL8360CDW order (**) after 10 days keeping me wait. I could not understand why they wait so long. I could have find somewhere else. My business affected badly during the Christmas time.

I bought a laptop Asus during Thanksgiving and then as it was not to my satisfaction. I created a RMA which they received on Dec. 17th 2020. Keeping in mind holidays, COVID-19 situation and at least 3 chat sessions all they say is it takes 2-5 days to process refund and your return has not been proceeded yet. It is over 5 working days. I hope they are not going out of business as this was the first time I bought from them and will not use them again. Amazon or other services I never had issues like this. I will have to call my Bank and the Card company. Something is not normal at Newegg.com.

Restocking Fees

Newegg does not charge any restocking fees for returns regardless of the reason for return.

Return Shipping Labels

Newegg does not charge for return shipping labels for products up to 50lbs. You may request a courtesy prepaid return label during the return creation process.

For products that are eligible for return for replacement, the return shipping labels are free for returns for replacement of the same item within the applicable return policy period. For returns of unopened items that were originally shipped via large item shipments, customers are responsible for any such return shipping costs.

In the event a product is returned that is (a) not defective, or (b) not the same product originally purchased from the website, then the product will be shipped back to the customer. If a refund to the customer has been processed, then Newegg reserves the right to deduct from the refund amount the cost of the return shipping from the customer to Newegg.

PRODUCT-SPECIFIC RETURN INFORMATION

Bundle Purchases

Bundles are offered as a way to purchase multiple items together at a discounted price. If you wish to return a Bundle for a refund, you must request a return within the applicable Newegg Return Policy period and you must return the ENTIRE BUNDLE. Items sold as part of a Bundle may be returned individually for replacement if you request a replacement within the applicable Newegg Return Policy period for that individual item.

Combo and Kits Purchases

Combos and Kits include two or more items that must be purchased together in order to receive a discount. Items sold as part of a Combo or Kit may be returned individually for replacement within the applicable Newegg Return Policy Period for that individual item.

If an individual Combo or Kit item is returned for a refund, the applicable discount will be voided, and the discounted amount will be deducted from the amount of the refund. If your Combo/Kit discount amount is greater than the individual unit price of the item you wish to return, then the item cannot be returned for a refund by itself; you will need to return all items in the Combo/Kit or return it with other items of value in order to receive a refund. For example, if your Combo/Kit discount was $5, and you return one of the items for a refund, the $5 will be deducted from your refund amount. Some combos are restricted from returning individual products for a refund and must be returned in their entirety. Please see combo product page for more specific information. 

TV & Video Products

For televisions with a screen size greater than 37 inches: An adult (age 18 or older) is required to sign the shipping courier's release form to complete delivery. It is highly recommended that you inspect the product upon delivery for visible damage. Large item shipments require that shipping damage is reported within 48 HOURS of the product's delivery. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any damage reported more than 48 HOURS after the product delivery will not be accepted by Newegg for replacement or refund. After delivery, please read all included documentation and/or contact the manufacturer directly to determine applicable warranty coverage, if any.  

Zero Dead Pixel Policy

We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase, so Newegg will accept returns for monitors, TVs, and display products with as few as one dead pixel within the product's eligible return period.

Manufacturer Promotional Items and Newegg Gifts

Manufacturers may offer free promotional items with their products. To receive a full refund on a purchase that includes promotional items, all items must be returned. The cost of any promotional items not returned will be deducted from the refund total. Newegg may also offer gifts to valued customers for their continued support as well as for special giveaways. These gifts are not part of any purchase value and therefore do not have to be returned.

Pre-paid Card, Gift Packaging and Memberships

Purchases for prepaid cards, gift packaging and memberships are not eligible for return.

Special Order Products

Special order products are not eligible for return.

Quantity Purchases

While Newegg is more than happy to fill your order for a quantity of ten (10) or more of any given item in our inventory on a single purchase order, please understand that an order of that size, once purchase is completed, is automatically non-refundable. All other specific conditions related to the ordered item still apply, including any and all stipulations relative to any available replacement return policies. Additional Terms

Title

Newegg does not take title to returned items until the item arrives at the returns address destination. At our discretion, a refund may be issued without requiring a return. In this situation, Newegg does not take title to the refunded item.

Cross-Shipping

We do not cross-ship. Returns must be received, inspected and approved before we ship a replacement.

Refusing Delivery

Refused shipments are treated like regular returns and may be charged a non-refundable 15% restocking fee.

Defective Products

A defective product that is returned may be repaired, replaced, or refunded at Newegg’s sole discretion, unless otherwise required by law.

Product Return Procedures

To return a product to Newegg, you must obtain an RMA number within the applicable return period for the product. Newegg will not accept returns without prior authorization and an RMA number. Once issued, RMA numbers are valid for 15 days within which time returned products must be received by Newegg. RMA numbers will not be extended or reissued. Customer must prominently display the RMA number(s) on the shipping label as well as the RMA invoice on the box(es) containing the returned product.

Customer is solely responsible for shipping any returned product to Newegg. Customer agrees to use only reputable carriers capable of providing proof of delivery and insurance for the entire value of the shipment. Customer agrees to bear all shipping and insurance charges and all risk of loss for the return product during shipment. Customer agrees that all returned products will be 100% complete, in re-sealable condition, and will include the original packaging material, manuals, blank warranty cards, and other accessories provided by the manufacturer. If any component of the returned product is missing, Newegg's Return Procedure will be breached and Newegg may in its sole and absolute discretion reject the entire return or choose to impose additional charges against the customer for replacement of the missing component(s). Newegg will not refund the original shipping charges to the Customer. In addition, Newegg may assess a 15%-30% restocking fee against the Customer's account or deduct the fee from the refund amount on all returns, subject to the Return Policy and any product-specific policy. Newegg reserves the right to adjust the value of any item returned for refund to reflect its current market price, in which case the 15%-30% restocking fee will be applied after this adjustment.

Packaging Returns

The return must be properly packaged to protect against damage in transit. Please note that any damage caused by mishandling, improper installation or product defacement will result in your return being denied and the product being returned to you.  

Return Processing

Please allow 2-4 business days for products "Sold and Shipped by Newegg" and “Shipped by Newegg” to be processed after being received. For 3rd party marketplace orders "Sold and Shipped by Seller”, please allow up to 10 business days for your return to be processed. Due to item availability, some repair/replacement returns may be delayed or changed to refund. Once your return has been processed, we will send you an email regarding your return.  

Refunds

Refunds will be credited back to your original payment method. Once your return has been processed, please allow 3-5 business days for your refund to post to your account. If the original payment method is no longer available, Newegg will mail you a check to the billing address listed on your account. For returns for refunds for items purchased as gifts, Newegg will issue you a refund in the form of store credit. For returns for refunds for items purchased through Bitpay, Newegg will issue you a refund in the form of a Newegg gift card.

Store Credit

For returns for store credit, Newegg will issue you store credit in the form of a Newegg Store Credit Gift Card. Once your return has been processed, a Newegg Store Credit Gift Card will be issued and sent to you via email within approximately 1 -2 business days. Replacements

For products that are eligible for return for replacement, the product may only be returned for a replacement of the same item. We do not allow exchanges or returns for replacements for different items. If you would like to receive a different item, you would need to return the original item for a refund, in accordance with the Return Policy and then purchase the item you would like to receive instead of the original item. If Newegg no longer carries an item that is sent in for replacement, or if that item is simply out of stock, Newegg will issue you a refund. Once your return has been processed, a replacement will be processed and shipped within approximately 1 -2 business days.
