Tactical Equipment Details

Flash Grenade

Flash Grenade

The Flash Grenade is excellent for disorienting enemies. Use this before entering a room to blind enemies, making it easy to eliminate them once you break in. Be careful as this grenade will also affect you if you're within the blast zone when it explodes!

Check Out the Flash Grenade Here!

Stun Grenade

Stun Grenade

The Stun Grenade behaves similarly to the Flash Grenade. The difference is that the explosion impairs enemies by blurring their vision, slowing their movement and aim speed. Use to clear out enemies that are grouped together!

Smoke Grenade

Smoke Grenade

The Smoke Grenade is perfect for breaking line of sight. If you feel like you are getting overwhelmed, pop some smoke to make it harder for enemies to hit you. This will also work against enemy targeting systems!

Snapshot Grenade

Snapshot Grenade

The Snapshot Grenade is useful for marking tangos in a certain area on your minimap. It will paint a better picture for you when scouting areas. When in doubt, use the Snapshot Grenade!

Heartbeat Sensor

Heartbeat Sensor

The heartbeat sensor is a useful item to scout for enemies close by. Since it only displays rough information, you may still need to be on your guard. However, this is a more stealthy option since it does not explode.

Gas Grenade

Gas Grenade

The Gas Grenade is a great item for area denial. Since it creates a lingering glass cloud, you can deny enemy areas and force them into choke points for easy kills!

Stim

Stim

The Stim is useful equipment for prolonging your survivability on the field. By being able to recover your health, you can stay alive for longer, making it easier to reach your killstreaks, and further dominate in matches!

Decoy Grenade

Lure enemies using this grenade. While enemies are distracted looking for the source of the noise, you can use this opportunity to flank and take them out, or have a claymore or a mine waiting for them.

How to Get Equipment Kills in Modern Warfare

The Call of Duty series has long been associated with epic, skillful, and ultimately challenging kills. Unsurprisingly, the recent Modern Warfare has carried on this great old tradition through its many challenges. Many players have found themselves encountering the “get 20 equipment kills” challenge, which sounds easy enough, but can be rather difficult. So, here is how to get equipment kills in Modern Warfare, and how to level up your equipment usage altogether.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare | How to get equipment kills

[ngg src=”galleries” ids=”1″ display=”basic_imagebrowser”]More often than not, the CoD games are played in a kind of “run and gun” fashion, with players favoring aggressive pushes and constant mobility. Then, there are those who like to go against the grain. These players, and achievement seekers, find ways of accruing the most difficult and impossible kills. For better or worse, using secondary equipment items is a way of achieving this.

The following four items can be used in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare to get equipment kills.

  1. Semtex
  2. Frag Grenades
  3. Claymores
  4. Throwing Knife

There are easier equipment kills, and harder ones. To get equipment kills in Modern Warfare, players have to get acquainted with the equipment of course. Semtex and frag grenades are straight forward enough; throw the exploding thing and hope that it kills the other thing. The key to them is timing and surprise. If an enemy sees you throw it, it’s probably not going to kill them.

However, there are also more passive ways of gathering up equipment kills. Namely, stationary devices such as claymores allow a defensive offense. The best location to place such equipment items is behind doorways, just out of sight. They’re pretty much a guaranteed kill, but they’re also easily foiled by a vigilant eye and a few bullets.

For more skillful of players, there are harder options. Easily the most difficult way of making equipment kills in Modern Warfare is through using the throwing knife. However, throwing knives require hours and hours of practice to get consistent kills with. The best way to practice with them? Throw them constantly, making note of their trajectories across all different levels of elevation.

Modern Warfare 2 Equipment

« Back to the Weapons List

You can only choose one equipment per class.

Frag

FragDescription: You only get 1 cookable frag grenade. You can "cook" a grenade by holding down the throw button and waiting for a while. After you throw it, the grenade will explode much faster and that way you have a better chance of killing someone. Frags can easily bounce and roll downhill.

Unlocked at level 4.

Semtex

SemtexDescription: You get 1 Semtex grenade. It can't be cooked like a frag grenade and the throwing distance is much shorter. Semtex grenades have a blinking red light and a loud beeping sound, which increase as it's about to explode.

These stick to almost anything, even on other players. Use these against Riot Shield users, it's a certain death to them.

Unlocked at level 4.

Throwing Knife

Throwing KnifeDescription: You only get 1 knife, but it's a one-hit kill, if it hits. Hold down the throw button to get an aiming reticule, after that release the button to throw the knife.

Throwing Knives can be picked up and used again, so don't loose it. The knife travels in an arc and isn't meant for long distant throws, not accurate ones at least.

Unlocked at level 7.

Tactical Insertion

Tactical InsertionDescription: Light the flare and drop it on the ground. When you die, you will respawn next to the flare, which will disappear, so remember to use another one. Tactical Insertions can be picked up and used on another spot.

Flares can be easily destroyed by the enemy, so remember to hide them well. Friendly flares are green and enemy ones are red. Use the SitRep perk to see enemy Tactical Insertion more clearly.

Unlocked at level 11.

When the Blast Shield is equipped, it blocks the edges of your screen and your radar as well.

Unlocked at level 19.

Best Lethal and Tactical Equipment in Modern Warfare

Every Call of Duty loadout is incomplete without a tactical item.

Since the beginning of CoD, tactical equipment has been a key component of any loadout or class, giving players one extra tool to help clear out objectives and pubstomp noobs.

In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone, there are eight tacticals to choose from, most of which are throwable. Stretch out your throwing arm and get ready to use these to win your games.

Keep in mind that all of these tacticals are countered by a Trophy System, but these are the best of the best.

Stun Grenade

Slows victim’s movement and aiming.

The stun is a perfect tactical grenade. It has a huge hit radius and can be used to bounce off walls and easily incapacitate enemies, allowing you to close in for the kill.

Flash Grenade

Blinds and deafens targets.

Although easily countered by the Tac Mask perk, the flash will blind your enemy and leave them vulnerable.

Stim

Military stimulant that cauterizes combat wounds and refreshes Tactical Sprint.

The Stim is doubly effective, instantly triggering your healing over time and giving you a charge of Tactical Sprint, allowing you to run faster in a short burst of speed.

Heartbeat Sensor

A tablet that displays rough information about nearby enemies.

The Heartbeat Sensor will periodically beep, showing you the location of enemies who are nearby. It’s countered by Ghost, but unsuspecting enemies will be easy to pick apart.

Gas Grenade

Explodes in impact with the ground, releasing a lingering cloud of tear gas that causes slowed movement, blurred vision, and coughing.

This is the ultimate camper deterrent. The gas grenade will explode and deal damage over time in a cloud of poison gas, forcing enemies to move out of cover.

Coming out immediately after the blonde, the trainer and the agent saw the journalists rising to their feet and realized that they fell, not without help. Jones nodded to Stone to talk to them while he ran after Emma. Having caught up with the blonde already on the street, the coach grabbed her hand, trying to stop her.

Emma pulled out her hand and growled angrily at the coach, don't touch me now, Jones. and, turning around, continued to leave.
